WHO: Felix Baumann

WHAT: In this interdisciplinary workshop, elements of physical theatre, circus, and dance are mixed together. By deconstructing elements of acrobatics and dance and combining them with physical comedy and absurd theatre, an eccentric, body-based mode of expression emerges.

In line with the guiding principle “Move, Research, Play,” the body is understood as a creative tool — a medium for exploration, play and physical storytelling. Participants develop an awareness of presence, rhythm, space, and dynamics, discovering new ways of telling stories without words.

The focus lies on exploring an intuitive body and its ability to respond spontaneously, improvise, and generate meaning through movement. Participants are invited to engage their sense of play, explore their own physical comedy, and use simple materials as a source of movement, interaction, and humor.
